City Chic Search for a Plus Sized Model

Showtime Attractions was please to be awarded the contract on working with fashion retailer City Chic on their search for Australia’s for the next big thing - a "plus size" model to be the face of their new campaign
 City Chic was on the look-out for a female model sized 14 to 24 to represent its brand and conducted the first plus size model competition across Westfield Shopping Centres.   
Showtime Attractions was approached to help produce & transport the infrastructure & production around the Westfield Centres hosting the competition.
Our infrastructure included:

City Chic teamed up with Ford Models NY and BGM Models Australia to launch the nationwide competition, scouring the country to find Australia’s leading model with a plus.
Veronika Cvak 20 from Melbourne won Australia’s first ever search for a plus size model competition. Veronika beat over 2800 contestants, winning a two year contract valued at $30,000 as the face of City Chic.  The prize also included an exclusive photo shoot with City Chic and Cosmopolitan magazine including a feature in the magazine, a $1,000 City Chic wardrobe and an opportunity to be signed on with leading Australian modelling agency, BGM Models.
